Catching up with Mellow NYC

We had the pleasure of catching up with Mellow NYC, an Artist (rapper) always looking to bring artist together and create event to strengthen our underground community.

What makes you passionate about community work, and advocating for your community?

Our community is almost lost completely. Keeping the original nyc culture is very difficult with so many people being displaced daily in our neighborhoods. This pushes me even more to keep nyc alive.

Shout out where you're from and how your community has positively impacted who you've grown to be

East New York Brooklyn. Not really much positivity, but the negative fueled me to create change
